Västerled, Bromma - Sweden 🇸🇪

In the district of Bromma in Stockholm, Sweden, this project comprises four buildings with 42 dwellings in four storeys and it was finished in December 2022. It is a CLT building with high acoustic performance, translating to Swedish sound class B standards or, in acoustic figures, DnT,w+C50-3150 ≥ 56 dB and L´nT,w+CI,50-2500 ≤ 52 dB. Our mission was to predict sound insulation, provide detailed design of façade/windows, structural components and junctions, and finally to carry out verification measurements. The developer is Veidekke Eiendom, Architect is Forslunds Architects and the building contractor, Veidekke Entreprenad.
